The Transport Companies Management Page

Once you have registered, whenever you sign in you will be taken straight to your management page. From here you can set and view your preferred areas and track your bids. The management page works the same way for all three freight types apart from the preferred areas where road is different from air and sea freight.

Over the next few sections you will see more about each section above in greater detail.

View my matching adverts

When you click on this link, the site will display any of the adverts that match your preferred areas for the type of freight above the link. You are then taken to a page listing all of the adverts in the same way as when you click on any of the main freight tabs in the main menu, but this time a smaller selection of adverts will be displayed. This is one of the most powerful features of the site and it will allow you to see only areas that you want to do business in. See the section below on preferred areas for more information about this.

Set my preferred areas

You may well have set some preferred areas already when you registered (click here). The registration preferred areas are very similar to this section, there are however some minor differences. The process of setting a preferred area for road freight differs from both sea freight and air freight. As you see below in the example sea freight and air freight both use the same system.

Live Adverts (adverts you are currently bidding for)

When you click on the adverts that you are currently bidding for you will see each of them displayed in the format below. You can see your bid here with your user ID and view the other transport companies bids that are displayed with their customer ID number. The advert ID number is displayed at the top of every advert that you are bidding for.

Adverts Pending Delivery

The adverts here are displayed in the same format as the “Live Advert” section. If you see any adverts in this section it means your bid has been selected by the advertiser but the goods have not yet been delivered. You will see your successful bid displayed in bold text. If there are any complications that result in you being unable to deliver the goods it is still possible for the advertiser to award the contract to another company at this stage. You will now see a new button displayed under the “View Advert” button, the new button is labelled“View Advertiser Info”. Click on this button to view the full contact details of the advertiser along with their address.

Successful Adverts

Again the adverts in this section are displayed in the same format as the “Live Adverts” above. This section displays all of the adverts where your bid has been successful and you have delivered the goods. You will still be able to go back and see all of the other bid details from your competitors for the adverts along with your own bid details.

Unsuccessful Adverts

Like the other sections before, this section is displayed in the same format as “Live Adverts”. You can view all of your competitors bids here in detail for the adverts including the winning bid that is displayed in bold text.
